What is counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy that offers you a safe, confidential non judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and work on whatever issues you have been struggling with and to bring about changes you feel you want to make, If talking is difficult for you it doesn't mean you can't access counselling as I use alternative resources to help make the exploration process easier for you. Life is like a puzzle and sometimes we can feel stuck and lost counselling can help you put your pieces together and look for what is missing for you.
Counselling promotes hope when sometimes it can feel hopeless.

Relationship is key to the work it's important to me that you feel comfortable within your process.
My role is to not tell you what to do but for us to work together to uncover any root causes and identify your specific ways of thinking. We will then together create a plan of action to either help you reconcile your issues, or help you to find ways of coping.
How can counselling help?
The way counselling can help will depend on you and what you want to get. It is always good for you to have an idea of what you want to get from coming to counselling for example "I want to feel less anxious or stressed". I may not give you concrete advice or a checklist of things to do to feel better, what I will do is help you uncover your own insight and understanding of your problems providing you with the tools which will help you to resolve them on your own.
